Indiana University of Pennsylvania Chapter of ITEA

About the Chapter

The IUP Chapter of ITEA exists to maintain a liaison among those who take an interest in the instruments of the tuba and euphonium family, including development, literature, pedagogy, and performance.  The chapter has cited the following as its objectives:
  • To expand performance opportunities
  • To enhance the image and roles of our instruments and performers
  • To generate new compositions for tuba and euphonium
  • To encourage tuba and euphonium workshops
  • To connect local tuba and euphonium players to the national chapter
  • To promote continuing study of tuba and euphonium among developing musicians at the secondary level
